These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of this online store and its associated services (the “Services”). The terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Restorative Journeys (Pty) Ltd (company number 2025/466394/07), trading as Balance, which operates this store. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as any applicable policies referenced herein. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Services.
SECTION 1 – ACCESS AND ACCOUNT
By using the Services, you confirm that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction or have received permission from a parent or legal guardian. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account and may not transfer your account to another individual.
SECTION 2 – PRODUCTS
We strive to display our products as accurately as possible. However, due to device settings or screen differences, actual product appearance may vary. We do not guarantee that products will meet your expectations. We may modify or discontinue products or limit quantities at any time without prior notice.
SECTION 3 – ORDERS
When placing an order, you make an offer to purchase. Orders are not accepted until confirmed and processed. We reserve the right to reject or cancel any order for any reason. Orders are subject to availability and current pricing at the time of purchase. All sales are subject to the store’s applicable return and refund policies.
SECTION 4 – PRICES AND BILLING
Prices are subject to change without notice and may vary across platforms or sales channels. Taxes, shipping, and other fees may be added at checkout. You agree to provide current, accurate billing and payment information. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
SECTION 5 – SUBSCRIPTIONS AND RECURRING BILLING
Some products are offered on a Subscribe & Save basis. If you choose that option, the following applies in addition to the rest of these Terms.
Recurring payments. Your first payment is taken at checkout. After that, the same amount is charged automatically each month on the anniversary of that first payment, until you cancel. There is no sign-up fee, no minimum term and no fixed end date.
Price. You pay the subscriber price shown on the product page at the time you subscribe, and that rate does not change if our list prices rise later. If we ever need to change the price or the billing period of an existing subscription, we will email you before it takes effect, and you may cancel instead.
Delivery. Every subscription order is delivered free of charge within South Africa.
Managing and cancelling. You can see your next payment date and amount, change your delivery address, and pause, resume or cancel at any time under My Account → Subscriptions. Cancelling takes effect immediately and stops all future payments. There is no cancellation fee and no notice period. If you would rather we did it for you, contact us using the details at the end of these Terms.
Failed payments. If a renewal payment does not go through, your subscription is placed on hold and we will email you so the payment can be completed. We do not retry the payment automatically. Deliveries resume once payment succeeds.
Returns. Subscription deliveries are covered by our Refund and Returns Policy on the same terms as any other order.
SECTION 6 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Shipping times are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delivery delays or issues once the shipment is transferred to the carrier. Risk of loss passes to the customer upon shipment.
SECTION 7 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content and features of the Services, including trademarks, text, images, and software, are owned or licensed by us or our partners and are protected by intellectual property laws. Use of the Services grants you no rights to such intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any content without written permission.
SECTION 8 – OPTIONAL TOOLS
Third-party tools may be provided “as is” without warranties or support. Use of these tools is at your own risk and subject to the terms of the respective third-party providers.
SECTION 9 – THIRD-PARTY LINKS
The Services may contain links or integrations with third-party websites or resources. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third parties. Use of such resources is at your own discretion and risk.
SECTION 10 – PRIVACY
Personal information collected through the Services is subject to the store’s privacy practices. By using the Services, you consent to data processing, which may involve transfer of information to jurisdictions outside your country of residence.
SECTION 11 – FEEDBACK
Any feedback or submissions you provide may be used by us in any manner, including for commercial purposes, without compensation. You represent that your submissions do not violate any third-party rights and are not unlawful or harmful.
SECTION 12 – ERRORS AND INACCURACIES
We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, and to cancel or modify orders if any information is incorrect, including after an order has been submitted.
SECTION 13 – PROHIBITED USES
You agree to use the Services for lawful purposes only and not to engage in any harmful, abusive, or fraudulent activity. Unauthorized use, including attempts to harm the site’s functionality or security, may result in account termination and legal action.
SECTION 14 – TERMINATION
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time for violation of these Terms. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
SECTION 15 – DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
The Services and all products are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free access. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of warranties, so this disclaimer may not apply to you.
SECTION 16 – LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from your use of the Services or products, including lost profits, data loss, or other incidental damages, even if advised of the possibility.

Headings are for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of these Terms.
SECTION 23 – CHANGES TO TERMS
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically for updates.
